Product description
Compiled from the existing technical description of this product on this site
Precision aluminium inserts are made of lightweight, high-strength aluminium with a finely machined knurled outer diameter. After injection molding or press-fitting into plastic parts, the knurled teeth form a strong interlock with the base material, providing excellent torque resistance and pull-out strength. The surface is anodized or passivated for good corrosion resistance, and the thread precision is high, making them suitable for plastic structural parts with requirements on both appearance and weight.

FAQ
Material, standards, surface treatment and installation points for this model; the data comes from the specification table on this page and from the national standards cited in the answers.
Q1What material does the aluminium alloy insert use? What strength level does it reach?
Specified in the specification table on this page: material aluminium alloy (6061 etc.). A material certificate and mechanical property test report can be provided with the goods; batch acceptance is carried out in accordance with the above specifications.
Q2To which standard is the aluminium alloy insert manufactured and inspected?
Standards specified in the specification table on this page: per customer drawing / corporate standard; aluminium alloy grade GB/T 3190 (6061); anodizing GB/T 8013. A dimensional inspection report can be provided with the goods; batch acceptance is carried out in accordance with the above standards and the drawings agreed by both parties.
Q3Which surface treatments are available for the aluminium alloy insert? How do I choose?
Surface treatment specified in the specification table on this page: anodized / passivated. Different coatings differ in appearance, corrosion resistance and cost; select according to the service environment and the order agreement.
Q4In which applications is the aluminium alloy insert used?
Typical applications listed in the product description on this page: housings of 3C electronic products; automotive interiors and lightweight parts; plastic structural parts of home appliances; drone and model aircraft components. Overview: Precision aluminium inserts are made of lightweight, high-strength aluminium with a finely machined knurled outer diameter. After injection molding or press-fitting into plastic parts, the knurled teeth form a strong interlock with the base material, providing excellent torque resistance and pull-out strength.
Q5When is the aluminium alloy insert required?
When threads in soft base materials (aluminium, magnesium, cast iron, engineering plastics) wear and strip after repeated assembly and disassembly, or when the thread strength is insufficient to withstand the assembly torque, an insert is used to form a wear-resistant, high-strength internal thread in the base material. This is a common solution for thread repair and reinforcement. This is a functional explanation; for verification refer to GB/T 196 and GB/T 197. Data for this model is subject to the specification table on this page. (Applies to this model: “aluminium thread insert”.)
