Product description
Compiled from the existing technical description of this product on this site
The TORX PLUS Torx socket cylindrical head screw uses a patented optimised six-lobe recess with flatter tooth flanks and a larger contact area; compared with standard hex socket and TORX drives it transmits higher torque and markedly reduces tool wear. Combined with precision thread rolling, it offers high thread accuracy and stable tightening, suitable for high-reliability assembly of critical joints.

FAQ
Material, standards, surface treatment and installation points for this model; the data comes from the specification table on this page and from the national standards cited in the answers.
Q1What material is the TORX PLUS Torx Cylindrical Head Screw made of, and what strength level does it achieve?
Marked in the specification table on this page: material is high-strength alloy steel. Material certificates and mechanical property test reports can be supplied with the goods; batch acceptance follows the data above.
Q2What are the main features of the TORX PLUS Torx Cylindrical Head Screw?
Features listed on this page: TORX PLUS® drive for high torque capacity and long tool life; flat tooth contact surfaces reduce stress concentration at the recess; precision thread rolling for consistent thread dimensions and smooth tightening; high-strength alloy steel that withstands high tightening torque.
Q3To which standards is the TORX PLUS Torx Cylindrical Head Screw manufactured and inspected?
Standards marked in the specification table on this page: thread GB/T 196, GB/T 197 (ISO 965-1) 6g; mechanical properties GB/T 3098.1 (ISO 898-1); TORX PLUS® drive per company standard / drawing. Dimensional inspection reports can be supplied with the shipment; batch acceptance follows the standards above and the drawings agreed by both parties.
Q4What surface treatments are available for the TORX PLUS Torx Cylindrical Head Screw, and how to choose?
Surface treatment marked in the specification table on this page: black oxide / zinc plated (optional). Each coating differs in appearance, corrosion resistance and cost; choose according to the service environment and order agreement.
Q5What does the 6g thread tolerance of the TORX PLUS Torx Cylindrical Head Screw mean?
6g is the standard tolerance class for external threads (GB/T 197 / ISO 965-1). It defines the manufacturing tolerance range for the pitch diameter and major diameter, balancing smooth engagement against manufacturing economy; the mating internal thread is usually 6H. All threads in this series are inspected to 6g. (Applies to model "TORX PLUS cylindrical head screw".)
