Product description
Compiled from the existing technical description of this product on this site
The Torx socket cylindrical head P85 locking screw adds a Precote 85 (P85) chemical pre-applied threadlocking adhesive to the Torx socket cylindrical head design; after installation the adhesive cross-links chemically to form a strong lock. It combines the high torque transmission of the Torx recess with the reliability of chemical locking, and suits precision equipment where parts are rarely disassembled and the joint must stay stable over the long term.

FAQ
Material, standards, surface treatment and installation points for this model; the data comes from the specification table on this page and from the national standards cited in the answers.
Q1What material is the Torx Cylindrical Head Lock Screw made of, and what strength level does it achieve?
Marked in the specification table on this page: material is high-strength alloy steel. Material certificates and mechanical property test reports can be supplied with the goods; batch acceptance follows the data above.
Q2What surface treatments are available for the Torx Cylindrical Head Lock Screw, and how to choose?
Surface treatment marked in the specification table on this page: black oxide / zinc plated (optional). Each coating differs in appearance, corrosion resistance and cost; choose according to the service environment and order agreement.
Q3What applications is the Torx Cylindrical Head Lock Screw suitable for?
Typical applications listed on this page: precision instruments and optical equipment; automotive electronic modules; industrial robots and automation; premium appliances. Overview: the Torx socket cylindrical head locking screw adds a type 85 chemical pre-applied threadlocker to the Torx socket cylindrical head design; after installation the adhesive cross-links chemically to form a strong lock.
Q4What are the head type, drive and structure of the Torx Cylindrical Head Lock Screw?
Drive specified in this page's specification table: Torx. Structural details are subject to the drawing.
Q5What does the 6g thread tolerance of the Torx Cylindrical Head Lock Screw mean?
6g is the standard tolerance class for external threads (GB/T 197 / ISO 965-1). It defines the manufacturing tolerance range for the pitch diameter and major diameter, balancing smooth engagement against manufacturing economy; the mating internal thread is usually 6H. All threads in this series are inspected to 6g.
