Product description
Compiled from the existing technical description of this product on this site
The hex flange serrated locking pre-coated screw has radial serrations under the flange head; when tightened, the serrations bite into the mating surface and form a mechanical interlock, which together with the pre-applied thread adhesive gives locking on both the face and the thread. The flange also enlarges the bearing area, lowers the pressure on the bearing face and restricts settlement of soft substrates, which suits stable joints under high vibration.

FAQ
Material, standards, surface treatment and installation points for this model; the data comes from the specification table on this page and from the national standards cited in the answers.
Q1What material is the hex flange serrated-face anti-loosening screw with pre-applied adhesive available in, and what strength level does it reach?
Marked in the specification table on this page: material is high-strength alloy steel. Material certificates and mechanical property test reports can be supplied with the goods; batch acceptance follows the data above.
Q2Which surface treatments are available for the hex flange serrated-face anti-loosening screw with pre-applied adhesive, and how to choose?
The specification table on this page lists surface treatments: black oxide / zinc plated / zinc-nickel alloy (optional). Different coatings differ in appearance, corrosion resistance and cost; choose according to the service environment and order agreement.
Q3Where is the hex flange serrated-face anti-loosening screw with pre-applied adhesive used?
Typical applications listed in the product description on this page: around engines and gearboxes; joints and bases of industrial robots; vibrating areas of construction machinery; new energy electric drive assemblies. Overview: the hex flange serrated locking pre-coated screw has radial serrations under the flange head; when tightened, the serrations bite into the mating surface and form a mechanical interlock, which together with the pre-applied thread adhesive gives locking on both the face and the thread.
Q4What are the head type, drive and structure of the hex flange serrated-face anti-loosening screw with pre-applied adhesive?
Specification table on this page: head type is hex flange; drive is hex flange. Structural details per drawing.
Q5What is the locking principle of pre-applied adhesive parts such as the hex flange serrated-face anti-loosening screw with pre-applied adhesive?
A viscoelastic adhesive layer is pre-applied to the threaded section. After the screw is driven in, the adhesive fills the gaps between the thread flanks and gives the thread pair continuous damping and adhesion, suppressing back-rotation. Residual locking capacity remains after re-assembly, but it decreases with the number of assembly cycles. The pre-application process follows the company standard; the thread is GB/T 196, GB/T 197 6g. (Applies to this model: “hex flange serrated locking pre-coated screw”.)
