Product description
Compiled from the existing technical description of this product on this site
The ultra-thin locking clinch nut was developed for extremely thin sheet, using precision clinching and a unique root locking structure to form a high-strength interlock after pressing into the sheet. It provides reliable torque resistance while keeping the sheet flat and free of protrusions after riveting, suitable for visible surfaces where protrusions are not allowed.

FAQ
Material, standards, surface treatment and installation points for this model; the data comes from the specification table on this page and from the national standards cited in the answers.
Q1What material is used for "Ultra-thin self-locking clinch nut"? What strength level does it achieve?
Specified in the specification table on this page: material carbon steel / stainless steel. A material certificate and mechanical property test report can be provided with the goods; batch acceptance is carried out in accordance with the above specifications.
Q2What applications is "Ultra-thin self-locking clinch nut" suitable for?
Typical applications: ultra-thin sheet-metal enclosures; portable electronic devices; new-energy battery housings; precision sheet-metal structures. Overview: the ultra-thin locking clinch nut was developed for extremely thin sheet, using precision clinching and a unique root locking structure to form a high-strength interlock after pressing into the sheet.
Q3How is "Ultra-thin self-locking clinch nut" installed? What should be noted?
Noted in the specification table on this page: mounting by clinching; riveting thickness 0.5mm ~ 1.5mm (depending on model). Match hole diameter to sheet thickness per the recommended values for each model; a trial installation is recommended before batch production.
Q4What is the head type, drive and structure of "Ultra-thin self-locking clinch nut"?
The specification table on this page notes: head types are flat head / countersunk head (by model). Structural details are subject to the drawing.
Q5Can "Ultra-thin self-locking clinch nut" be used on aluminium sheet and other dissimilar metals?
Selection to requirements is possible, but contact between steel parts and aluminium sheet, or between dissimilar metals in humid environments, tends to cause galvanic corrosion. The usual practice is zinc plating or Dacromet coating to improve corrosion resistance, verified in critical applications by salt-spray testing to GB/T 10125 and under actual service conditions. (Applies to the model “ultra-thin locking clinch nut”.)
