Product description
Compiled from the existing technical description of this product on this site
Clinch screws are precision cold-headed from high-hardness carbon steel or stainless steel, with a unique serrated extrusion feature on the head. During clinching they embed into the thin sheet through plastic flow of the base material for permanent anchoring, providing very high push-out and rotation resistance with precise threads — suitable for threaded joints and support in sheet-metal parts.

FAQ
Material, standards, surface treatment and installation points for this model; the data comes from the specification table on this page and from the national standards cited in the answers.
Q1What material is used for "Clinch screw"? What strength level does it achieve?
The specification table on this page notes: materials are high-hardness carbon steel / stainless steel. Material certificates and mechanical test reports can be supplied with the goods; batch acceptance follows the notes above.
Q2What are the main features of self-clinching screws?
Features listed in the product description on this page: serrated extrusion feature for permanent anchoring after clinching; high push-out and rotation resistance, no spinning; high-hardness carbon steel / stainless steel for stable strength; no tapping and no welding, protecting the sheet coating.
Q3To what standards is "Clinch screw" manufactured and accepted?
Standards noted in the specification table on this page: clinch/blind-rivet structure per customer drawing / corporate standard; threads to GB/T 196 and GB/T 197 (ISO 965-1); mechanical properties and mounting-hole dimensions per the manufacturer's datasheet. Dimensional inspection reports can be supplied with the goods; batch acceptance follows the above standards and the drawings agreed by both parties.
Q4What surface treatments are available for "Clinch screw"? How to choose?
The specification table on this page lists surface treatments: zinc plated / Dacromet / plain. Each coating differs in appearance, corrosion resistance and cost; select according to the operating environment and order agreement.
Q5What sheet thickness range does "Clinch screw" cover?
The models in this series suit sheet thicknesses of approx. 0.5–6mm (depending on the model); the specification table on each model page lists the corresponding riveting thickness range. Hole diameter and sheet thickness matching directly affects riveting strength and thread quality — drill the holes to the recommended values for each model. This entry explains the mechanism; for verification refer to GB/T 17880 and GB/T 3098.19. Data for this model is subject to the specification table on this page.
