Product description
Compiled from the existing technical description of this product on this site
The all-aluminium pull-expansion plug has an aluminium alloy body; during installation, the pull-expansion structure expands the body radially so that it fits tightly against the hole wall to achieve a seal rated up to IP68. Its material is similar to aluminium substrates, which helps reduce the risk of galvanic corrosion (to be confirmed on the actual structure); it is suitable for one-time permanent closure of process and inspection holes, maintenance-free over the long term and without repeated disassembly.

FAQ
Material, standards, surface treatment and installation points for this model; the data comes from the specification table on this page and from the national standards cited in the answers.
Q1What material is the all-aluminium expansion sealing plug made of? What strength level does it reach?
The specification table on this page states: material is aluminium alloy. Material certificates and mechanical property test reports can be provided with the goods; batch acceptance follows the specifications above.
Q2To which standard is the all-aluminium expansion sealing plug produced and inspected?
Standards stated in the specification table on this page: per customer drawing / corporate standard; aluminium alloy grade GB/T 3190; anodizing GB/T 8013; ingress protection IP68 (IEC 60529). Dimensional inspection reports can be provided with the goods; batch acceptance is carried out in accordance with the above standards and the drawings agreed by both parties.
Q3What surface treatments are available for the all-aluminium expansion sealing plug? How to choose?
The specification table on this page lists surface treatment: anodizing. Different coatings differ in appearance, corrosion resistance and cost; choose according to the service environment and order agreement.
Q4In which applications is the all-aluminium expansion sealing plug used?
Typical applications listed in the product description on this page: process holes in die-cast aluminium housings; new energy vehicle battery pack housings; telecom and server chassis; aluminium hydraulic and pneumatic parts. Overview: the all-aluminium pull-expansion plug has an aluminium alloy body; during installation, the pull-expansion structure expands the body radially so that it fits tightly against the hole wall to achieve a seal rated up to IP68.
Q5What exactly does the IP68 rating marked for the all-aluminium expansion sealing plug mean?
According to IEC 60529: the first digit 6 means complete protection against dust; the second digit 8 means continuous immersion in water without ingress under conditions agreed between the manufacturer and the user. There is no uniform fixed water depth or duration for rating 8; the test conditions agreed by both parties and measured results govern. (Applies to this model “Pull-expansion plug”.)
